SCHOFIELD, Wis. - Dwight Davis has been elected chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Greenheck Fan Corp. The company's former chairman, Robert C. Greenheck, will remain on the board as chairman emeritus. In his new position, Davis will continue to oversee the company's operations as CEO, preside over board matters, and guide the company's future direction.
"It's time," said Robert Greenheck, who co-founded the company with his brother, Bernie, in 1947. "When Dwight joined our management team four years ago as president, our industry - and manufacturing as a whole - was headed into a serious multiyear downturn. In spite of the worst prolonged business climate I have ever seen, Dwight has demonstrated the unique ability to successfully lead us through adversity, while driving a sound future vision. Greenheck has fared very well under Dwight's leadership, and I look forward to seeing more exciting opportunities unfold."
