NUREMBERG, Germany - Parker Hannifin and Siemens announced their joint collaboration to design, develop, market, and service mechanical components and electronic controls in packaged systems. The companies made the announcement at the IKK Expo.
The collaboration will target air conditioning and refrigeration customers who desire packaged control systems that can increase functionality, improve energy efficiency, and reduce overall operating costs, officials said. Targeted applications will include heat pumps, chillers, close-control/telecom units, self-contained cabinets and coolers, indoor PTAC units, ductless mini-splits, rooftop units, industrial refrigeration systems, and supermarket systems.
