WASHINGTON - The recently published 2006 National Fuel Gas Code contains new options for installing natural gas service and natural gas appliances, according to the American Gas Association (AGA).
Some of the significant revisions in the 2006 National Fuel Gas Code include expanded pipe sizing tables and new rooftop support requirements; permitting Type B vents to be installed in outdoor insulated chases and revising vent-connector length limits; and new requirements for appliances located in attics, new options for appliance shut-off valve locations, and revised appliance connections.
