DES PLAINES, Ill. - The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) unveiled its new heat pump training course at the RSES Annual Conference in Calgary, Alberta. The heat pump training course has been completely rewritten and includes more than 200 new graphics and tables. It includes material designed to instruct HVACR students in the basic function, installation, and servicing of various types of heat pumps.
The revised heat-pump training course material, which is now contained in two volumes, covers: installation and troubleshooting of air-to-air heat pumps; installation and troubleshooting of water-source heat pumps; current fossil fuel supplemental heat including proper installation; current electric supplemental heat applications and codes; and high-efficiency heat pumps.
