It can be used as a standalone register to control bonus rooms, room additions, seldom-used rooms, and basements, the company states. The zone register also can be used in place of standard zone dampers for traditional zone control systems, says the manufacturer. The unit works well where it is not practical to install standard zone dampers, the company says.
