The company has changed its UV-Aire air purifier. The redesigned unit has a new plastic housing and is available in two sizes. The larger UV-C Model is equipped with state-of-the-art circuitry that controls and monitors lamp usage, states the company. When wired to the thermostat, it activates the lamp only when the blower is engaged. The UV-C smart model also provides a visual and audible warning to the homeowner when it’s time to change the lamp. The unit can be wired into a home alarm system using dry-contact relay connections. The UV-C is compatible with 120-, 208- or 240-V power outlets. Both of the new UV-Aire models feature angle brackets and duct board mounting kits.
