CAMDEN, NJ — The U.S.S. New Jersey (BB-62), nicknamed “the Big J,” is one of the most well-known and most decorated battleships in military history. On Oct. 15, 2001, this decommissioned battleship was opened to the public when Homeport Alliance, a nonprofit group, dedicated the Battleship New Jersey Memorial and Museum.
This marks the first Memorial Day that the museum will be open, and that is due in large part to the work of Delta T Mechanical in Runnemede, NJ.
