June 9, 2006: Fall Load Calculation Training Announced
ARLINGTON, Va. - The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has set dates for this fall's Fundamentals of Load Calculation course. In three-and-a-half days, participants will learn the fundamentals of load calculation, equipment selection, duct design, and room air distribution.
According to ACCA, what is unique about this training is that heat transfer fundamentals are taught as a foundation for computer-assisted load calculation. There are no tedious manual room-by-room load calculations in the program. Students go directly from fundamental concepts to the ACCA Speed-Sheet spreadsheet load calculation software, and will return to work ready to begin applying their new load calculation and system design skills, says the association.
