STAMFORD, Conn. — The International Exhibition Group (IEG) has reported that a trade fair called Refrigeration and DeepFreeze will debut in Moscow on Dec. 9-12, 2003 at the Triumph Pavillion, Rosstroy Expo Center. The IEG said that the show will be the first Russian trade show of its kind to target the shortage of cooling systems, deep freezing systems, transport vehicles and devices, systems and services for the food, agriculture, and other temperature-dependent industries.
The organization also said that the shortage of temperature controlling equipment is so severe that a recent report from the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Foreign and Commercial Service estimated that between 25 percent and 50 percent of Russia’s agricultural output spoils before reaching the market.
