The Comfort-Set® 80 Series single-stage thermostat is available in both programmable and nonprogrammable versions. The 1F80-261 programmable thermostat has four time settings and four temperature settings per program (heat and cool), temporary temperature override until next program period, and indefinite setpoint hold or programmable timed hold up to eight hours, the manufacturer says. According to the company, other new features found on the 80 Series are a 60 percent larger LCD with improved contrast for easier reading, lighted display for easier low-light viewing, permanent program retention during power loss, and an optional air filter change indicator.
