The OnGuard® Continuous Corrosion Transmitter (CCT) is the latest addition to the company’s atmospheric corrosion monitor series. The unit is designed to be wall-mounted in control rooms, rack rooms, motor control centers, or other areas where corrosive gases are of concern, says the company. Corrosive gases, such as hydrogen sulfide, attack circuit board components, degrading performance. The real-time monitor measures the amount of corrosion forming on components and transmits the data to a building management or distributed control system, the company says.
