FALLS CHURCH, VA — The Union-Affiliated Contractors (UAC) will meet Feb. 28 – March 2, 2002, at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, FL. The meeting will feature a variety of seminars, including a labor negotiations presentation, a residential service and construction panel, and a construction users’ roundtable discussion.
UAC trustee Bud Riestenberg will present a Pipe Fabrication Institute seminar. A panel discussion titled “Codes & Licensing, Political Action: How to Influence Codes and Licensing in Your State and Local Area” is also scheduled. Finally, the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors — National Association (PHCC) will sponsor a seminar titled “Foreman/Superintendent as Field Leader,” presented by Kirk Alter of Purdue University.
