WASHINGTON, DC and NEW YORK, NY — Two more associations have reported that they lost members in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) reports that at least five member firms located in or around the World Trade Center (WTC) were affected. Three of the firms have reported fatalities.
The Washington Group located on the 91st floor of the South Tower has confirmed one fatality, and 12
others are presumed dead. Lagan Engineering, located across from the WTC, has also confirmed one fatality. Approximately 313 employees of Seabury & Smith parent company, Marsh USA, are missing and presumed dead.
