WAPPINGERS FALLS and SHERBURNE, NY — The state of New York is practicing what it preaches in the design and construction of two environmental centers. Stony Kill Farm Environmental Center in Wappingers Falls and Rogers Environmental Education Center in Sherburne will now feature “green” additions designed by Stein White Nelligan Architects.
The projects are to comply with New York State Executive Order No. 111, “Green and Clean State Buildings and Vehicles,” which requires state agencies to be more energy efficient and environmentally aware.
