ARLINGTON, VA — The Air-Condi-tioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) has announced the appointment of William G. Sutton as president of the trade association. On January 1, 2002, Sutton will replace Clifford H. “Ted” Rees, Jr., who is retiring after eight years as president of ARI.
“Woody Sutton’s experience in the use of technology and innovative leadership solutions will be of great value in continuing ARI’s well-earned reputation for excellence achieved under the direction of Ted Rees,” said Daniel W. Holmes, Jr., chairman of ARI’s board of directors. “ARI welcomes his expertise in cost management, efficiency, service improvement, and strategic reorganization.”
