KANSAS CITY, MO — Energy performance contracting unit, CMS Viron Energy Services, announced it has been awarded a contract valued at almost $2 million from Valparaiso University of Valparaiso, IN.
CMS will provide facility upgrades that it says will lower the university's energy cost by about $2.9 million. The contract calls for CMS to not only retrofit lighting throughout the campus, but also to implement campus-wide water conservation measures by modifying existing water use fixtures and meters along with various other energy efficiency upgrades.
