WASHINGTON, DC — Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) has voiced its disapproval of the new Davis-Bacon helpers regulation that was released by the Clinton Administration in mid-November.
“ABC is disappointed that at the eleventh hour, the Clinton administration would push through a regulation on Davis-Bacon that is harmful to American workers,” Thomas Musser, national president of ABC said. “This Davis-Bacon helpers regulation closes the door on entry-level helpers who should be allowed to earn while they learn.”
