The next generation of manufactured housing was unveiled in a special ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 9. Called the “NextGen” house, the Danbury, CT home not only qualifies for an Energy Star rating, it is said to exceed the program’s performance requirements by nearly 20%. NextGen is a demonstration project of the Partnership for Advanced Technology in Housing (PATH), a voluntary public/private sector initiative administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban development.
