Waunakee, WI — The Wisconsin Coalition for Fair Competition (WCFC), an organization of hvac, plumbing, and electrical contractors and others affected by competition from electric utility monopolies, has filed a lawsuit challenging a recent decision by the Wisconsin Public Service Commission (PSC).
The reason for the lawsuit surrounds the refusal by the PSC, in a 2-1 vote, to require monopolies, which operate nonutility businesses that compete with private contracting companies, to operate these businesses “separate” from their utility operations.
