ATLANTA, GA — The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers’ (ASHRAE’s) energy conservation Standard 90.1-1999, “Energy Standard for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings,” will be included in the 2001 version of the International Energy Conservation Code.
Standard 90.1-1999 was approved for inclusion in the code by the International Code Council (ICC), comprised of the International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO), Building Officials and Code Administrators (BOCA), and the Southern Building Code Congress International (SBCCI).
