Stanley is offering construction workers something new with the launch of its FatMax snips, the company says. The snips, which feature steel blades for improved durability and longevity, includes a mixture of aviation, tin and specialty HVAC snips.
Additional product features include laser-etched, quarter-inch blade markings to help make quick cuts, spring-loaded external latches for quick, one-handed operation and low-profile hardware to prevent getting in the way while cutting. The snips are also rated for 18-gauge cold-rolled steel and 22-gauge stainless steel, which meet American National Standards Institute specifications, company officials say.
