Find out how the state plans to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045
On Monday, Dec. 13, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pacific time, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) will conduct an online workshop that will offer an update on the state’s building decarbonization efforts.
Building decarbonization is important to reduce emissions to achieve California’s path to carbon neutrality by 2045 and to meet air quality standards. Since the electricity grid is increasingly powered by renewable and zero-carbon sources, accelerated building electrification in the short term can play a pivotal role in achieving climate and air quality targets while providing important public health benefits.
