NUREMBURG, Germany — This year’s Chillventa was the largest ever. With 2 percent increases in exhibition space and 4 percent increases in exhibitor numbers, it provides the industry an even better forum to put on the best possible show. Held Oct. 16-18 in Nuremburg, Germany, discussion between global experts began on the day before the actual exhibition, at the Chillventa Congress. The compact one-day congress program gave experts from around the world the chance to learn about the latest trends and developments in depth.
“Chillventa has grown impressively and fast,” said Daniela Heinkel, exhibition director Chillventa, NürnbergMesse. “With six events in ten years, it has achieved a milestone this year, and has broken the 1,000-exhibitor barrier for the first time in its history. For the first time, 1,019 exhibiting companies from 45 countries are represented at the Nuremberg exhibition venue, covering all aspects of refrigeration, AC, ventilation, and heat pump technology. This is a pleasing development, since it once again clearly shows the value of Chillventa for the international community. There has also been a two-percent increase in exhibition space. That’s a very good result, building on an already strong starting position. And a clear sign that Chillventa has established itself as the international focal point for the refrigeration industry.”
