Goettl Air Conditioning Celebrates 78th Anniversary

PHOENIX — Arizona's longest established air conditioning company, Goettl Air Conditioning, will celebrate its 78th anniversary today, February 14, the same day that Arizona celebrates its 105th birthday.
When Goettl was founded in 1939, Packard became the first automobile manufacturer to offer an air conditioning unit in its cars, the cost of a gallon of gas was 10 cents, the average cost of a new house was $3,800 and eggs were 18 cents per dozen.
