Company donates time, money, resources to Philadelphia charity
BLUE BELL, Pa. — Peirce-Phelps, an HVAC distributor in the U.S. supporting commercial and residential customers, announced a partnership with Habitat for Humanity® Philadelphia. Peirce-Phelps is providing cooling and heating systems from Mitsubishi Electric US Inc. Cooling & Heating Division, which will be installed in 12 new single-family homes in the Diamond Park area of north Philadelphia. Builders broke ground for the new homes in April 2016 and expect to finalize all 12 residences by October 2017. The first group of qualified families will move into their new homes this summer. Over the last 30 years, Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia has built more than 80 homes in north Philadelphia.
“Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia is building these homes with underprivileged homeowners in mind, prioritizing use of the latest in home-building technology from Mitsubishi Electric to maximize savings and energy efficiency,” said David Lamb, product manager, Peirce-Phelps. With the installation of Mitsubishi Electric’s MXZ Hyper-Heating INVERTER™ outdoor unit and the SLZ and SEZ indoor units, homeowners will benefit from equity built into their homes. The indoor units offer multiple airflow options and unobtrusive location within the home. This combination of indoor and outdoor units will also provide occupants with what Mitsubishi Electric describes as a zoned comfort solution on all floors of the home.
