Commerce Department Finds Dumping of HFCs from China, Awaits ITC Ruling
International Trade Commission scheduled to make its final injury determination on Aug. 1
WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Commerce has announced an affirmative final determination in the antidumping duty investigation of imports of hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) blends and components from the People’s Republic of China.
The antidumping duty law provides U.S. businesses with a mechanism to seek relief from injurious dumping of imports into the United States. Dumping occurs when a foreign company sells a product in the United States at less than its fair value.
