WASHINGTON — From a brand-new and controversial U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) overtime rule to the uncertainty still surrounding regional standards enforcement, members of Heating, Air-conditioning, and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) had plenty of concerns to discuss with their legislators at the eighth annual HARDI Congressional Fly-In event, held May 24-25 in Washington, District of Columbia.
The two-day event drew a record number of distributors, wholesalers, manufacturers, and manufacturer’s representatives to Capitol Hill and included a legislative briefing, guest presentations from several members of Congress, networking events, and the opportunity for participants to meet with legislators from their districts.
