My Plumber Heating & Cooling Helps Raise Autism Awareness and Funding
Giving back to the community is ‘the right thing to do’
MANASSAS, Va. — My Plumber Heating and Cooling is helping to raise awareness and funding for autism research and support during April, Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month, by decorating its service vehicles with a special logo and donating a portion of all profits to local organizations supporting the cause.
“We firmly believe that giving back to the community is just the right thing to do,” said Mark Presgrave, owner of My Plumber Heating and Cooling. “There is so much that can still be learned about Autism Spectrum Disorder. I was shocked to find out that every 21 minutes a child is diagnosed with autism. We hope that our campaign will help raise awareness and much needed funding for autism services, research, and treatment.”
