SAN FRANCISCO — Encycle, developer of the Swarm Energy Management platform™, announced it was one the recipients of the 2016 Global Cleantech 100 award. This award, presented by the Cleantech Group, recognizes the most innovative and promising ideas in clean technology.
The Swarm platform uses retrofit controllers that work with a building’s energy consuming devices. Most often, these controllers are fitted to the largest consuming devices in a building, typically HVAC units, though they can operate with any electrically controlled device. The controllers provide energy savings through consumption management, demand management, and intelligent demand response.
