Module for optimization platform delivers up to 40 percent energy savings
SEATTLE — Optimum Energy announced that campuses and commercial buildings can cut energy use of HVAC systems 20 to 40 percent with the company’s new OptimumAIR™ module for the OptiCx™ optimization platform, which made its official debut at the IDEA Campus Energy 2016 Conference.
OptimumAIR automatically adjusts airflow from direct digital control (DDC) variable air volume (VAV) systems to use the least amount of fan power, chilled water, and heating energy possible while meeting building temperature, humidity, and airflow requirements.
