ACCA’s Residential Load Calculation Standard out for ANSI Public Review

ARLINGTON, Va. — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America Educational Institute (ACCA-EI) Standards Task Team (STT) has announced an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) public review period for its BSR/ACCA 2 Manual J-201x, “Residential Load Calculation,” as a revised industry standard. The public review period has a comment deadline of Nov. 30, 2015.
The revised standard details the requirements for producing a residential load calculation per the CLF/CLTD method contained in Manual J, 8th edition. The provisions of the standard apply to any dwelling unit that has its own HVAC system and equipment, and its own exhaust air system(s). This includes:
