Utah No. 1 in Home Energy Efficiency, According to WalletHub Study
Americans spend nearly $2,000 a year on energy bills; about half pays for heating and cooling
WASHINGTON — WalletHub conducted a study on 2015’s Most and Least Energy Efficient States. The study examined both home and car energy efficiency. Looking just at home energy efficiency, Utah ranked No. 1.
As WalletHub notes, energy is one of the biggest household expenses for American consumers, who, on average, spend nearly $2,000 a year on energy bills. About half of that pays for heating and cooling.
