Detroit Renewable Energy Honored by International District Energy Association
Recognized for largest expansion of district energy infrastructure in North America
DETROIT — Detroit Renewable Energy (DRE), owner and operator of the downtown Detroit district energy steam system, was honored by the International District Energy Association (IDEA) as a recipient of the Gold District Energy Award in the Most Square Feet Added in North America Award category for the 2014 business year. DRE added 6,605,000 square feet of district energy infrastructure in the city of Detroit.
The award was presented at the 106th IDEA Annual Conference in Boston.
