Spool Compressor Technology Features a Simple Rotary Design with Four Main Components
CUMMING, Ga. — TORAD Engineering announced that it has opened the new TORAD Commercial Development Center (TCDC) to support the growing demand from its customer base on the company’s path to commercialization of its spool compressor technology.
The state-of-the-art facility in Cumming, Georgia, measuring 13,000 square feet, houses skilled design and manufacturing engineers as well as a full complement of manufacturing equipment. The TCDC facility supports TORAD’s core research and the production of prototype hardware for its commercialization partners. In addition, TORAD has expanded testing capacity for refrigeration development as well as improved metrology capabilities to aid in faster development of production-ready designs. The firm now has the capability of producing machines for a wide range of applications with capacities ranging from fractional horsepower to 200 horsepower.
