California Businesswoman Wins HVAC Contractor of the Year
Mary Jean Anderson Recognized for Excellence in the HVACR Industry
EL CAJON, Calif. — The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors—National Association (PHCC), in conjunction with Trane, a brand of Ingersoll Rand, presented Mary Jean Anderson, owner of Anderson Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., El Cajon, Calif., with the PHCC HVAC Contractor of the Year Award. Anderson was recognized for excellence in the HVACR industry, including professionalism, innovative practices, and community service, among other things.
Anderson Plumbing, Heating & Air is a 36-year-old company known for its principles of quality, integrity, personal service, and commitment to community. As president and owner of the family business founded in 1978, Anderson is dedicated to continuing its reputation of providing community service and industry leadership. For example, she regards ongoing, affordable training and education for contractors as crucial to the health of the industry. Over the past four years, Anderson has provided 100 percent of funds for the company apprentices’ tuition and training.
