Nov. 4, 2014: Low Interest Financing Program Announced for Pa. Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy Projects
Projects may include HVAC upgrades, building envelope improvements, solar PV installation, and more
ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Sustainable Energy Fund is inviting not-for-profit and governmental entities in Pennsylvania to apply for a loans at 2 percent interest to complete energy efficiency or renewable energy projects. Projects must reduce energy consumption of non-sustainable resources or generate energy from sustainable resources. Total available funding through the Sustainable Energy Finance Program is $500,000 with funding ranging from $5,000 to $100,000. Funds will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The Request for Applications can be downloaded at www.thesef.org. The deadline for submission is Jan. 29, 2015 at 4 p.m. EST. Projects may include HVAC upgrades, building envelope improvements, solar photovoltaic (PV) installation, and lighting retrofits, among others.
