Sept. 3, 2014: Thermoelectric Developer Names Scott Rackey as VP of Business Development
As Company Focuses on Commercialization, Rackey Brings Strategic and Technical Expertise
WALTHAM, Mass. — GMZ Energy, a developer of high temperature thermoelectric generation (TEG) technology, has announced the appointment of Scott Rackey as vice president of business development. In his new role, Rackey is responsible for scaling GMZ’s business model and developing strategic partnerships to help the company continue on its path towards commercialization.
TEG directly converts waste heat into electricity. GMZ Energy uses patented processes to manufacture thermoelectric materials that the company says can be used across multiple applications, including natural gas-fired home heating equipment, to improve performance and increase efficiency.
