Aug. 13, 2014: ABM to Reduce Energy, Operating Costs by $19 Million for Colquitt Schools
Upgrades Include Replacing HVAC Equipment and Installing Centralized Building Controls with Remote Capabilities
NEW YORK — ABM, a leading provider of facility solutions, announced its ABM Building Solutions business has been selected by Colquitt County Schools, Moultrie, Georgia, to provide energy efficiency upgrades and facility enhancements to all 14 schools in the county through ABM’s Bundled Energy Solutions program. The project, scheduled to be completed in June 2016, is expected to save an estimated $19 million in energy and operating costs over a 15-year period.
ABM’s Bundled Energy Solutions program is designed as a financial solution to meet clients’ technical facility needs and sustainability goals. The goal is to drive costs out of a client’s operating budget, allowing savings to be reallocated to fund mission critical facility needs.
