Home » July 30, 2014: New ISO Energy Management Standards Are Expected to Drive Improvements
SANTIAGO, Chile — Members of an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) committee gathered in Santiago, Chile, to discuss new energy auditing and management standards. The committee, TC 242, led the development of the ISO 50001 energy management standard, which the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Superior Energy Performance (SEP) program builds on to verify energy savings and establish additional improvement targets.
