RT-Series Inducers are designed to solve draft problems and are available with an optional Constant Operating Pressure Control (COP). The COP delivers precise draft or exhaust by modulating fan speed to maintain a constant negative pressure within a vent or exhaust system as draft requirements or exhaust loads change. Common vented boilers, water heaters, and clothes dryers operate more efficiently; rooftop chase exhaust fans modulate to actual demand, saving make-up air and reducing motor power consumption. Chimney fans with Draft COP are designed for noncondensing modulating gas and oil-fired heaters and multiple heaters tied into a common vent. The Draft COP incorporates a UC1 universal burner interlock and has soft start and soft transition between speed that translates into quick and extremely smooth reaction to firing rate changes.
