Home » April 11, 2014: McKinstry Takes on Federal Energy Services Projects Across Six States
DENVER — McKinstry has begun work on several energy savings projects for the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) that will address aging infrastructure needs, reduce energy waste, and save money at federally-owned facilities across six states in the GSA Rocky Mountain Region.
McKinstry is one of 16 energy service companies (ESCOs) prequalified to provide energy services to the federal government. GSA’s Rocky Mountain Region awarded a contract to McKinstry that included auditing more than 5.8 million square feet of building space, resulting in energy conservation measures now being implemented in 22 buildings.
