ARLINGTON, Va. — ACCA has launched a completely redesigned new public website at www.acca.org. The focus of the association’s new homepage is the consumer — both homeowners and building managers — and it offers these audiences a variety of videos and tutorials to help them make good decisions regarding their indoor environment systems.
According to David Kyle, ACCA national senior vice chairman and president of Trademasters in Virginia, “Hundreds of thousands of consumers visit ACCA’s website every year, looking for a quality contractor. Since ACCA’s goal is to improve the quality of indoor environment systems and energy efficiency nationwide, it only made sense to make consumer outreach our number one online priority. There are a lot of contractors, and it’s vital that consumers make the right decision when choosing one.”
Among the website’s new features are specialty animated and live videos that help homeowners and building managers know which questions to ask before hiring a contractor, and what to expect from an HVAC industry professional. It also includes a new graphic, map-based locator that allows consumers to find ACCA member contractors in their area.
