Contract Has an Initial Design and Construction Value of Approximately $8 Million
ARLINGTON, Va. — Pepco Energy Services Inc. has been awarded a task order to implement a comprehensive energy savings performance contract (ESPC) at the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Systems Center in Natick, Mass. The task order was awarded under the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville’s Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for Energy Savings Performance Contracting and has an initial design and construction value of approximately $8 million.
The Natick Soldier Systems Center is an Army research and development facility and is the only active-duty Army installation in the six New England states. If a soldier wears it, eats it, sleeps under it, or has it airdropped to him, it’s likely to have been researched and developed at the Natick Soldier Systems Center.
