Efforts Are Aimed at Integrating the Performance Data from Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic Systems
PETALUMA, Calif. — Enphase Energy Inc. and Ingersoll-Rand Nexia Intelligence LLC announced that they are collaborating on smart home energy monitoring offered by Nexia™ Home Intelligence, a brand of Ingersoll Rand and leader in home intelligence and automation. These efforts are aimed at integrating the performance data from rooftop solar photovoltaic systems using Enphase® microinverters and making it accessible via the Nexia Home Intelligence platform. This will offer builders and homeowners a comprehensive home intelligence solution that integrates not only home automation capabilities, but also renewable energy data.
Nexia Home Intelligence brings together home automation technology into a single, easy-to-use platform, said the company. Nexia subscribers can control products throughout their home including thermostats, locks, lights, cameras, sensors, and more, all from their smartphone or computer. By collaborating with Enphase, a leader in residential solar technology, Nexia Home Intelligence will enhance the management and monitoring aspects of home energy use by including solar energy generation data.
