Johnstone Supply Contributes to Habitat for Humanity
Supplier Helps Provide Heating, Hot Water Systems for Home
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Johnstone Supply teamed up with Flower City Habitat for Humanity to provide the heating and hot water systems for The PGA Habitat for Humanity blitz build home. This house, which is being built at 170 Whitney St. in the Jay Orchard Street Neighborhood Association (JOSANA), is sponsored by The PGA of America, The PGA of America Spouses, and PGA Tour Wives Association.
Ken Livingston, owner of the Johnstone Supply location on Halstead Street in Rochester, asked several of his major suppliers to participate in the project. As a result, Goodman Mfg. donated a new high-efficiency Goodman furnace; Navien America Inc. contributed a new Navien tankless, on-demand water heater; and Southwark Metal Mfg. Co. contributed the ductwork. Johnstone Supply donated all of the installation hardware.
