Passive House in Vermont, Green Home in Rhode Island Win Awards
PRISM Awards Highlight Projects by ZeroEnergy Design
BOSTON — The 2013 PRISM Awards honored green architecture and mechanical design firm ZeroEnergy Design with multiple awards, including Best Energy Efficient Project and Most Innovative Green Design. Hosted every two years by the Builders Association of Greater Boston, the PRISM Awards seek excellence in building, design, and industry related categories.
ZeroEnergy Design won a Gold Prism Award in the Best Energy Efficient Project category for the Norwich Passive House, a PHIUS+ certified passive house located in Norwich, Vt. Schematic design, mechanical design, and passive house consulting, were provided by ZeroEnergy Design, with general contracting by Estes and Gallup, building envelope panels and construction by Bensonwood, Paul Bilgen as consulting architect, and Architectural Openings providing windows and doors.
