A high-performance gasket for the company’s line of HVAC access doors has been developed. Features of the gasket include 0.25 cfm total air leakage at 10 inches wg, not a drop of water over the sill after 15 minutes at 2, 8, and 14 inches, and four hours at 20 inches, the company said. Extruded foamed ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber resists compression set and maintains greater flexibility in cold temperatures. The gasket is field replaceable.
