April 26, 2013: Carrier Offers Energy Assessment Program for Smaller Buildings
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Carrier announced it is now offering an energy assessment program designed to assist small- to mid-size commercial building owners. The assessments identify energy drains in buildings and provide cost-effective recommendations to improve indoor comfort while reducing energy use and operating expense. Carrier, is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.
Carrier energy assessments are performed onsite by experts from Carrier’s energy service operation, which is recognized by the National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO), an accredited energy service company (ESCO) and energy service provider (ESP). Assessments include a site review and analysis of utility bills, operating schedules, and occupancy levels to capture information about the site, which is then modeled to create a detailed, actionable report. The Carrier energy assessment provides recommendations to reduce energy consumption and create a healthier, more productive environment for occupants.
