Oct. 31, 2012: PowerMag Awarded Patent for Magnetic Heating Device
CHICAGO — PowerMag LLC announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has awarded the company a patent (U.S. Patent No. 8,283,615) for a heating device that generates heat through the use of magnetic fields created with its proprietary rotor designs. The MAG-Heat™ device is said to be more energy efficient than conventional electric heaters and is designed to evenly warm the air with magnetic heating elements.
The company also has additional patents pending for the use of its technology to heat liquids and other inert gases with multiple residential, commercial, and industrial device applications.
