Aug. 16, 2012: Ingersoll Rand’s Trane Facility in Wisconsin Earns Green Globes Certification
LA CROSSE, Wis. — Ingersoll Rand announced that the company’s Reuben Trane Building in La Crosse, Wis., has earned two Green Globes® from the Green Building Initiative (GBI).
The GBI is an American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-accredited standards developer dedicated to advancing the adoption of building practices that result in energy-efficient, healthier, and environmentally sustainable buildings. A rating of two Green Globes is defined as: demonstrating excellent progress in reducing environmental impacts by applying best practices in energy and environmental efficiency.
